Owanari Bobmanuel Duke

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Law School, her professional career of twenty years includes Associate Counsel at Olawoyin & Olawoyin, Company Secretary/Legal Adviser Itu Investments Limited and Legal Adviser at Alpha Merchant Bank - where she covered many aspects of law ranging from general corporate, commercial including admiralty; banking; commercial arbitration and litigation, (trials and appeals).

In the past decade, she has been the Managing Partner of the Law Firm of Duke & Bobmanuel, the Executive Chairman of Allied Merchants & Brokers Limited, a merchandising and brokerage firm and currently the franchisee of Uncle Ben’s® Rice - the leading branded rice in the world. She is also the Country Director of Empretec Nigeria Foundation. Her husband, Donald Duke is the former Executive Governor of Cross River State - host state of the Calabar Free Trade Zone ENF's inaugural centre in its pilot phase of programme installation in Nigeria.
